Thank you to the @thedebtcollective for supporting Thank you to the @thedebtcollective for supporting our fight for student debt cancellation for ALL! Predatory schools took advantage of so many students who just wanted to better their lives and their communities. We wanted to be psychologists, counselors, educators, business owners, and more. Many of us couldn't achieve those goals because the cost was too high. For those of us lucky enough to graduate and use our degrees, we're saddled with insurmountable debt that we'll never be able to pay off. This needs to end now!

Flying out today to attend the Sweet vs McMahon hearing tomorrow morning at 8 am. I am so proud of the work my team continues to do on this mission and I'm so grateful that I get to do this work too. As student debtors, we've sacrificed so much already to try and improve our lives, our situation, our world. Many of us gave up on other future dreams because we pursued education first and got saddled with unbearable debt. Tomorrow we fight for ALL student borrowers and for student loan cancellation for everyone! If you are a student borrower who was scammed by your school and the federal government, I want to help and represent you at the Sweet vs. McMahon hearing in San Francisco on December 11th. I'm taking time off of work, traveling and waking my ass up at 5 am ( PST) to go to court. There are so many reasons this budget bill should be killed. Please call your legislators today and tell them you do NOT support the bill!
