Licensed Clinical Psychologist

About Rachael
Therapy can be awkward and uncomfortable. Being curious and open about our pains is
not an easy task, which is why it is important to feel comfortable with the therapist you
work with. The relationship between therapist and client is fundamental to creating a safer space in which this exploration can occur. My goal as a therapist is to support clients in using their strengths to stay curious and willing to work towards their goals for a fulfilling life. It’s not always easy, but the benefits of self-understanding and acceptance, growth, and empowerment can help us in creating a life that reflects our values and aspirations.
Clinical Background
I completed my Master’s and PsyD in Clinical Psychology with the University of Indianapolis in 2020 and 2023, respectively. I maintained a generalist track throughout my training, gaining experience with adolescents and adults in various settings including correctional facilities, college counseling centers, and private practices. I am excited to be completing my post-doctoral work specializing with the queer, non-monogamous,
and kink communities, as this is where my passion lies. I hope to eventually become certified with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) as a Certified Sex Therapist and Sex Educator.
