Clinical Psychologist – Psychological Assessment Specialist
General Information
Relational Psychology Group (RPG) is seeking a part-time Clinical Psychologist to join our team, specifically focused on performing psychological assessments at our Skokie office. Our practice is an ideal environment for a clinician who is passionate about working with neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and poly/kink communities from a systemic, affirming framework.
At RPG, we operate under a co-op model of practice leadership, emphasizing financial transparency and professional development. We believe in investing in our clinicians’ growth and broadening the scope of our practice in areas proposed by our staff. Our assessment program was originally born out of this collaborative spirit and continues to be a vital part of our service to the community.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a part-time position based out of our Skokie office location. The primary focus of this role is the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological assessment batteries, followed by the delivery of comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments based on the clinician’s interest and specialty.
- Provide diagnostic clarity for a variety of clinical presentations, with a particular focus on neurodiversity-affirming evaluations.
- Participate in weekly consultation meetings with RPG staff and trainees to provide clinical perspectives and support.
- Submit all necessary billing materials in a timely manner.
- Engage in ongoing anti-racism work and systemic decolonization of mental health care through training and supervision.
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Illinois.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in psychological testing and report writing.
- Expressed interest in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse populations.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and administrative efficiency.
