Employment Opportunities

Relational Psychology Group, Inc. offers employment opportunities aimed at supporting clinicians in building their professional identity while providing treatment to members of the LGBTQIA+ and poly/kink communities, engaging in anti-racist work, and learning how to run a private practice.

General Information

Working at Relational Psychology Group is ideal for a clinician who is ready to solidify their identity as a working professional and learn the ins and outs of running a private practice. An ideal candidate will have expressed interest and experience in providing treatment to members of the LGBTQIA+ and poly/kink communities, engage in their own anti-racism work, and be
comfortable working remotely with clients. This job is ideal for someone who isn’t quite ready to start their own practice but wants to someday.

Employment

Working at Relational Psychology Group allows you to have the unique opportunity of building your clinical practice with support and guidance from experienced practitioners and practice owners to learn the ins and outs of all that goes into owning your own practice. Employment at RPG is designed to help you launch your career and practice by having a hands-on approach to learning the business and administrative side of private practice through a co-op model of practice leadership. This means employees will learn how to navigate insurance, billing, and the administrative skills related to practice ownership. To ensure transparency and shared decision- making, the practice owner provides financial transparency reports quarterly to allow for honest and real-time feedback and involvement from the entire team.

Personal and Professional Development

Relational Psychology Group supports its clinicians’ personal and professional development through investment in training opportunities, certifications, and broadening the scope of practice in areas proposed by clinicians. For example, our assessment program was born out of the expressed interest of 3 clinicians (all of whom brought it up to Rachael in the same week). We
believe that investing in people makes the practice and community better. If you have an interest in a new treatment approach, see a gap in services, or an environment to provide services, we welcome your input and actively work to make things happen for your growth.
